These two kids just keep growing and growing! Jeremiah is growing up extremely fast! He's crawling (soldier-style) all over the place, and showing early signs of wanting to get into EVERYTHING. He definitely likes McKenna's toys better than his own. He's also sitting up extremely well and he's pulling himself up to standing in his crib. We figure he'll be the one to flip over the side.

He's also learned how to blabber recently, doing is la la la's and his da da da's. Every now and then it seems like he's trying to say "I love you" back to us, but since he's more successful with his fingers in his mouth, I figure he's probably just enjoying trying to communicate.

McKenna just keeps piling on more and more personality, picking up phrases recently like "that's so amazing! I cannot believe it!" She's also learning that 1 + 1 = 2, 1 + 2 = 3, and 1 + 3 = 4, but she's still not sure about 2 + 2 and 3 + 2, but hey, it's a start, and not bad for a 2-year-old!

Then there's the spelling. She can spell mom ("m, o, m"), dad ("d, a, d"), and her own name ("m, c, k, e, n, n, a!"), nana ("n, a, n, a"), and a few other words. Ask her how to spell "smart", and without missing a beat, she says, "p, o, p". Guess who taught her THAT one!

McKenna is enjoying Jeremiah a lot. She also enjoys seeing pictures of herself as a baby. We also like to tell her about when she was a baby, and would say things like "e-leh-low" (I love you) or "bapple" (apple), and she just laughs and thinks it's the silliest thing ever.

Here are some previews of the latest crop of pictures, but be sure to see all of them here.

I get approached often enough about adware problems that I decided to write this article about how to get adware off of your computer and keep it off.
One of the most frequent problems computer users face today is adware. This comes in a variety of forms, and has a variety of ill effects. Most people don't realize they have adware installed -- they assume the ads that are appearing on their computer are related to the websites they are viewing, but this is not always the case.

In extreme cases of adware infection, your computer slows to a crawl, to a point where you are frustrated and simply ready to buy a new computer. But this isn't a long-term solution -- even on your new computer, if you continue your web browsing habits without any changes, you will likely be infected again and have the same problems within a couple of months.

There are two things you have to do: find and remove the adware, and then learn how to avoid it in the first place.
For the full article, see Dealing with Adware.
